As an artist, I view the work of healing as a creative collaboration that may take on a variety of forms.

My education is from nature, expressed through the myriad voices of my elders, the trees and the humans who have shared the gift of their wisdom so that I may show up in my integrity to this work. I am forever in debt to the caretakers of the ancient knowledge that has been passed down for generations to be shared with me cross culturally.

I recognize it is a privilege I have had to engage in a medicine that has origins in Asia. This awareness motivated my studies of the Classical Chinese written language and original medical texts in an attempt to better honor the cultural roots that my work grows from. There are complex structures of power and historical inequities that play a role in what I have had access to.

My gratitude is with my teachers, those of deep lineages who have stoked the fire of truth and kept this pure transmission sacred and safe. A star of light, always burning in the deepest dark.

I see it as an immense honor to be invited into the process of another’s wellness. I look forward to working with you in creative collaboration and have a multitude of points of access from which I am available to invoke this work.
